Joseph L. Krueger, M.S., CFO, EFO, is a 32-year veteran of the fire service who is currently a battalion chief with the McHenry Township Fire Protection District in McHenry, Illinois. Joe has a M.S. in executive fire leadership from Grand Canyon University and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois-Chicago. He is a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program and has extensive experience in leadership and management in the private sector.

David F. Peterson, M.S., EFO, is a 32-year veteran of the fire service and is fire chief in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin. Dave has a M.S. in executive fire leadership from Grand Canyon University and a B.S. in fire service management from the University of Southern Illinois. He is a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program. Dave is also a state advocate in Wisconsin for the Everyone Goes Home program.
