four photos: Sonora, California, July 11, 2006. Tuolumne
County/California Department of Forestry firefighters arrive on
scene to find a fully involved house, fully involved vehicles, and
numerous exposure fires spreading into the vegetation. Fast
action and an aggressive assault prevented the fire from extending
to other structures and the wildland. The cause of the fire is
believed to be a propane tank explosion. The homeowner was
critically burned. Response to the fire included six engine
companies, three water tenders, two inmate crews, one dozer, one
helicopter, two air tankers, and air attack (air coordinator).
Nice job by Incident Commander Captain Dan Dinneen."
