| Photo below: This photo was taken from
Firenuggets northern California headquarters. It is of a
6,000 acre fire in Yosemite National Park started by a fire
in an RV. The fire was 60 miles to the southeast and the
large convection column clearly illustrates the extreme fire
behavior firefighters faced. Photo by Ted Corporandy. |

Photo below: Groveland (Calif.)
firefighters demonstrate their love and respect for their
fellow firefighter, Jordan Reyes. After getting off duty at
U.S. Forest Service Engine E-12 on the Stanislaus National
Forest, Brother Reyes, who also worked for the Groveland
Fire Department (Tuolumne Fire District), was involved in a
motorcycle accident. It is with great sadness that we have
to report that our Brother succumbed to his injuries. Please
keep the Reyes family in your thoughts and prayers. RIP,
Brother. Until we meet again.
