There is no greater life and property saving action a fire department can do then to efficiently and effectively get the first handline in operation.  This class will focus on stretching and operating the initial attack handline.  In this 2 day hands on course students will rotate thru a variety of stations covering a variety of topics for todays fireground.  This is not a show and tell or powerpoint class.  This class is about getting outside and putting in the work to improve our skills and be better prepared for the next initial attack.  Students will cover nozzle types, static beds vs pre connects, vertical and horizontal stretches, standpipe operations, moving and flowing and aggressive use of the (RAM) rapid attack monitor.
