Honolulu Fire Summit

Honolulu Fire Summit
February 28, 2026 | 0830-1700

This comprehensive fireground training summit equips firefighters with the knowledge, tactics, and data-driven strategies needed to excel in life-saving operations. Participants will learn to navigate the challenges of fast-moving fires in wood-frame multi-family buildings, applying proven frameworks for decisive action, ventilation coordination, and tactical decision-making. Grounded in both real-world experience and cutting-edge research from the Firefighter Rescue Survey and FSRI, the summit emphasizes effective search and rescue, size-up, and firefighter survivability. Attendees will explore actionable strategies for improving outcomes, building training programs, and integrating fire dynamics, ventilation, and rescue operations seamlessly. By combining science, street experience, and practical exercises, this event ensures firefighters leave ready to save lives efficiently and safely on any fireground.

Proceeds from the Honolulu Fire Summit will be donated to the family of Jeffrey Fiala of the Honolulu Fire Department, LODD on January 9, 2025.
