Assisting America’s fire service with its need for leadership and officer development. The current version of the workshop offers these twelve AOLs: Developing Competence, Constructive Influence, Building Grit, Developing Humility, Having Presence, Resilience, Self-Mastery, Exercising Self-Regulation, Stepping Up, Building Trust, Vigilance, and Being Well.
The participants select the attributes based on consensus at the outset of the day. With strong timing and quick breaks, most groups get to two attributes in one 8-hour day. Each attribute starts with a short video which acts as a springboard to get the thought process and discussion rolling.
