With an emphasis on the first line, this class focuses on the art of stretching, moving, and flowing a hose line. A goal of every fire is for the first unit to arrive on the scene and get a line to the seat of the fire as quickly and efficiently as possible. How we achieve that relies heavily on our ability to estimate the stretch, deploy the line, and manage it from point A to point B.
